We’ll Catch You When You Fall
People say that the firsts are the most memorable.
So is our first family photoshoot.
The day started under a big tree.
Everywhere was so fresh and green this time of year.
Upon their arrival, we heard the loveliest thing - that Yuvi called Nipuni “mommy darling”.
Kishan would always be one step behind Yuvi, ready to catch him when he fell, while giving him enough space to explore the world freely.
Nothing compared to the joy when we saw Yuvi, holding his favorite toys, merrily run to his parents who were cuddling each other.
We came to realise that Yuvi is such a happy kid because he has a pair of parents who not only love and respect him, but deeply love and respect each other.
When this little family moved from Sri Lanka to New Zealand, Yuvi was just a baby.
Leaving the place where one was born, raised, and most familiar with is a hard decision, but being with the loved ones, no matter where, is the greatest blessing.
Thank you, dear Nipuni, Kishan, and Yuvi, for opening up and letting us see that you are happy simply because of being together.
